Maguire Construction is a general contractor, seeing your residential project through to its completion; working closely with the client and architect for design, and progressing thru excavation, foundation, framing, siding, and all interior finishes. Venti Di Mari
This beautiful home is unique in its blend of traditional shingle-style exterior details, and an interior that brings many modern influences. The home's kitchen is exceptional, with clean contemporary lines complimented by an ebony stained American walnut cabinetry, and stunning walnut burl along the island's radius profile. The great room is a statement all on its own with thirty foot ceilings overlooking Maine's coast.

Rat's Nest
Rat’s Nest may be an unusual name, but it is an ode to this property that has been in the family for generations. The original cottage, which was beyond repair, was removed to make room for the home that stands there now. This home showcases amazing architectural woodworking with wood paneling climbing the formal stairway, tapered columns in the dining room, paneled archways between entertaining spaces, and beaded inset kitchen cabinets.

Woodside Lodge
This quiet lake house retreat seemingly disappears into its surrounding with red cedar siding and forest green exterior trim. The massive stone chimney also seems to grow out of its natural habitat, constructed with river rock found in the area. Inside you will find many natural elements; wide pine board flooring, natural white pine interior trim, and several pieces of custom cabinetry built with white pine, all constructed by our custom cabinet shop. This home’s most striking element is the great room. This room has a twenty five foot tall cathedral ceiling, finished with natural pine edge & center bead, and large pine hammer trusses.

Foreside Hill
This home’s front elevation is very unassuming, with a detached garage connected by a long colonnade. Its water-side elevation is quite the opposite: it towers over thirty feet upwards, with elaborate stonework reaching the second floor, and a winding stone stairway leading up to a slate patio and stone turret. With an astounding one hundred and nine windows, every room in the house has a water view. Mahogany flooring runs throughout the home’s 7,200 square feet, decorated with an inlayed rope border and a twenty four inch diameter compass in the front entry. View virtual tour.

Dug In Cove
This four season vacation home is an Arts and Crafts inspired gambrel, featuring a unique round-ended, wrap-around porch overlooking Haraseeket Bay adorned with large Arts and Crafts style columns. Throughout its 4,000+ square feet of living space, you will find such personal details as an art studio located over the garage, floor to ceiling built-ins in the master bedroom, and a two person sauna in the master bathroom, all complimented by bright and vibrant colors.

Eighty Days
This contemporary Arts and Crafts prairie style home overlooks Casco Bay and is approximately 4,200 square feet. Its exterior has unique flared trim, bleaching oil shingle siding, and an outdoor patio built from extremely large slate slabs. A detached garage stands set back from the home’s street elevation. The master bedroom suite is on the first floor, following a trend that has become much more common in homes today to accommodate aging home owners. The home's living room, pantry and kitchen are entirely custom and were built in our cabinet shop. The second floor hosts three guest bedrooms, two of which have ocean views.

This home is close enough to the sea to see the surf from its second-floor windows yet hidden enough in the Maine woods to remain very private. It features a variety of formal living spaces throughout it's 6,700sq/ft: a grand front entry, an upscale dining area with a custom china cabinet, and a classy living room with a large fireplace and custom mantel. Farther back is a quaint breakfast nook and casual living room with another fireplace. The master bedroom suite features his and her custom closets, a working fireplace, and private screen porch. The home’s second floor has four guest bedrooms, three full bathrooms, custom oak office with working fireplace, kitchenette and media room. The third floor holds a game room.

Harmonious Breezes
Perched on New Hampshire’s coast line, this Arts and Crafts, shingle style home is anything but ordinary. This “smart house” has an internal computer, which operates all electronic functions in the house enabling the home owners to adjust room temperatures, play music, and turn on or off lights from anywhere in the world. The home is filled with custom cabinetry and furniture, built by our cabinet shop, including both the dining room table and master bed. The kitchen is custom as well, using wood paneling as cover for the refrigerator, ovens, and dish washer. Outside, the heated driveway and heated walkways help to avoid New England’s harsh winter hazards.

Lowes Bluff
This classic turn of the century Arts and Crafts, John Calvin Stevens inspired home overlooks Casco Bay and stretches over 10,000 square feet of living space. The home’s five bedrooms and six baths can easily accommodate any visiting friends and family of the very family-oriented home owner. One of the bedrooms provides a full nursery, any parent’s dream accommodations for themselves and their newborn.

PaTRIOT FARM
This timeless home is a replica of a 1690 center chimney colonial. Its central chimney has six working fireplaces located in the formal dining area, living room, keeping room, and all three bedrooms on the second floor. The house is approximately 4,000 spare feet with wide pine board flooring throughout. A true representation of seventeenth century architecture with all the modern day comforts, this home showcases such details as black slate countertops and farmers sink in the kitchen, gunstock corners on its exterior, a brick oven, two board wainscoting, and hand hue beams in the ceilings.
